SNACC reconsidering Arab company registration after fraud

SANA'A, July 06 (Saba) -
The Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission SNACC decided on Monday to
reconsider the
registration of an Arab company which produces and exports to Yemen agricultural
pesticides and veterinary medications. The decision was made after the authorities
found
the company had violated all rules through exporting prohibited pesticides into the
country. Though the company had knowledge about the list of prohibited pesticides
and
medications that must not enter the country, it wrote fraudulent information on its
product bags and brought them into Yemen, the commission said during its meeting.
The
commission urged the Ministries of Agriculture and Irrigation and Trade and Industry
to take necessary procedure to prevent the circulation of the prohibited pesticides.
