SPEAKER MEETS AMBASSADORS OF FINLAND AND VIETNAM

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Parliament Speaker D.Demberel received Tuesday Mr. Lars Backstrem who become new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic Finland to Mongolia.
At the meeting, Mr. Lars Backstrem promised to work with endeavor to elevate the bilateral relations and cooperation into a newer level. He underlined that the two countries are possible to develop cooperation in the commercial and economic sectors, and emphasized that it is important to regularize the high level meetings and talks for the ties between Mongolian and Finnish people.
The same day, the Speaker met Mr. Hoang Tuan Thinh, the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia. Beginning the meeting, Demberel expressed his satisfaction with appointment of the Vietnamese Ambassador who fluently speaks Mongolian and knows well Mongolian culture, custom, traditions and history. He hoped that representatives of the Vietnam's National Assembly will take part in the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF) to be held January of 2011 in Mongolia.
In turn, Mr. Hoang congratulated the Speaker on electing as a leader of the APPF, and conveyed an invitation of the Speaker of the Vietnam's parliament to Demberel to visit Vietnam in mid of December of this year.
