STATE SECRETARY MEETS NEW ZEALAND FOREIGN MINISTRY OFFICIALS


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On July 2, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar met with Mr. John MacArthur and Mr. Tony Browne, the Deputy Secretaries of New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Wellington city, New Zealand. They shared views on the Mongolia-New Zealand relations and cooperation.
The sides expressed willingness to pay attention to regularizing high level mutual visits and talks. Mr. Tsogtbaatar underlined that the countries have an opportunity to boost the collaboration in the sectors of agriculture, education, renewable energy and tourism. "New Zealand companies may make investments to Mongolia in processing meat and in exporting meat and meat products," Mr. Tsogtbaatar stressed.
He thanked New Zealand's government for improving English language skills of several Mongolian diplomatic officials, and expressed a willingness to continue this training for officials.
Present at the meeting were Ts.Jambaldorj, the Ambassador of Mongolia to New Zealand, and Graham Morton, a head of New Zealand Foreign Ministry Section in charge of Mongolia and China affairs.
