POLISH FOLK ENSEMBLE TO ARRIVE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames of measures for the 60th anniversary of the Mongolia-Poland diplomatic relations, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Mongolia plans to organize some cultural events, for example, a concert of the folk dance and songs "Istebna" ensemble will be given July 13 in the Central Cultural Palace.
The folk ensemble was founded in 1901. It gave concerts in England, Scotland, Austria, Macedonia and other countries. In 1908, it performed for the 60th birth anniversary of Emperor Francis Joseph in Vienna, Austria. The ensemble also grabbed the biggest prizes of Polish folk festivals.
For the time being, the ensemble comprises some 40 artists aged 14-25 and gives spectacular entertainment showing lifestyle of the Polish people and their culture.
The “Istebna” will perform at 11-12 a.m July 14 on the Sukhbaatar square.
