UAE airports continue fueling Iranian planes

Dubai, July 6, IRNA – Dubai Airport officials announced Monday night that UAE airports continue delivering fuel to landing Iranian planes, despite false reports that they no longer do so.

Some western media and news agencies on Monday claimed that British, German and UAE airports have halted providing fuel for Iranian planes landing in them.

IRNA contacted flight service officials in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi airports seeking the authenticity of such reports and were told that there are no alterations in their programs in offering services to Iranian planes.

There are nearly 17 daily flights from various Iranian cities to UAE destinations.

Iranian flight officials in Dubai, too, told IRNA Monday that there has been no difficulty in providing fuel for Iranian passenger jets landing and taking off in UAE at all, adding that the related news must have been part of the west’s psychological war against the country./end
