AMBASSADOR OF AZERBAIJAN TO BELARUS ALI NAGIYEV TRAVELS TO MOGILEV

Minsk, July 5 (AzerTAc). As part of series of events to mark the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Belarus Ali Nagiyev made a trip to Mogilev region. The Ambassador toured the historic core of the city where the “Azeri” national and cultural association organized the “Azerbaijani Yard” event. The guests of the event sampled national Azeri meals and listened to the Azeri music.
The Ambassador also laid flowers at the bust of Aslan Vezirov, Hero of the Soviet Union and toured other historical places of Mogilev.
The Ambassador also met members of the Azeri Diaspora including chairman of the “Azeri” Association Ilyas Ilyasov who has been nominated for Man of the Year title.
