BAKU ENERGY SUMMER SCHOOL COMMENCES

Baku, July 5 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy`s (ADA) Baku Energy Summer School has kicked off here today.
Speaking to the event, Deputy Foreign Minister, ADA rector Hafiz Pashayev told of Azerbaijan`s energy policy, energy projects and accomplishments the country has achieved over the past 16 years. He pointed out the main aim of the summer school is to have Azerbaijan recognized internationally as not only the oil-producing country but also a knowledge exporter
The summer school brought together 41 representatives from Turkey, Poland, Greece, Hungary, USA, Malaysia, Mozambique and other countries.
The 2010 Baku Summer Energy School will study a wide range of issues, such as fundamentals of energy; energy law; economics and politics of energy; environmental impacts and strategic management.
Renowned professors from USA, Israel, UK, France, Israel will deliver lectures at the event.
Specialists of SOCAR, ExxonMobil, TOTAL, Schlumberger, Itochu, RWE and bp will share their hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry.
Upon completion of the program, participants are issued a certificate by the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy.
