Deputy Oil Minister: Imposing sanctions on Iran not effective
Kermanshah, July 5, IRNA - Iran's Deputy Oil Minister Ali-Reza Zeighami said here on Monday that imposing sanctions against Iran is not effective.
Talking to reporters in Kermanshah province, Zeighami added several oil industry projects, worth dlrs 42 billion, will go on stream in the near future for increasing oil production.
He added that some five gasoline-production plans, with 60 percent of physical progress, are underway in several refineries across the country.
Zeighami underlined that some $11b has been allocated for upgrading refineries across the country which will add 260 liters of gasoline to the current level in the near future./end
