Iran urges Czech Republic to invest in railway
Tehran, July 5, IRNA – Minister of Road and Transportation Hamid Behbahani here on Monday urged the Czech Republic’s investors to make investment in the railway section in Iran.
Behbahani made the remark in a meeting with the Czech charge d'affaires Josef Havlas in Tehran.
Referring to the long-standing Iran and Czech Republic cooperation, Behbahani said the mutual ties have not expanded properly, and called for boosting bilateral economy transactions. He also invited his Czech counterpart to visit Iran in near the future.
Behbahani also voiced the willingness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to cooperate with Czech Republic in the fields of supplying port equipment, railway, locomotives and wagon construction. Havlas, for his part, expressed hope that two countries relations would be greatly expanded in various fields./end
