President Ahmadinejad inaugurates expansion project of steel complex in Bonab
Bonab, East Azarbaijan Prov, July 5, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad opened the expansion project of a steel complex here Monday morning.
The project includes two production units. Sahand Steel Complex is run by the private sector with a total investment of rls 1,700 billion and offers employment to 800 people.
It has an annual production capacity of over one million tons of knurled iron bar.
Meanwhile, Shahryar Steel Company which is active in producing kinds of steel bars, provides job for 700 people.
Bonab is located in East Azarbaijan province in northwest of the country./end
