NPP to be built in Kazakhstan with Russia's help.

ASTANA, July 5 (Itar-Tass) -- A nuclear power plant will be built in
Kazakhstan with the help of Russia. A corresponding document will be
signed on Monday, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting with
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The Kazakh head of state said that "very powerful documents are being
prepared" for today's signing. "This is a joint work at the Ekibastuz
GRES-2, construction of a unit worth 700 million dollars, an atomic joint
venture according to Russia's technology and construction of a NPP in
Kazakhstan with Russia's help," Nazarbayev specified.
