Iran Spokesman : Amiri's documents submitted to Swiss embassy

Tehran, July 4, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesman said here on Saturday evening that kidnapping documents of Shahram Amiri by Central Intelligent Agency (CIA) has been submitted to the Swiss embassy in Tehran as the US interest section in Tehran.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Ramin Mihman-Parast, answering a question by reporters concerning showing a new video of Iranian kidnapped citizen Shahram Amiri by the CIA and contradictory statements of the US State Department Spokesman, said, "We expect the US government, upon its duty and promise of the State Department spokesman, declare results of their investigations about the Iranian citizen soon."
He added that showing a new video about Shahram Amiri last week was again another proof of Iran’s declared stance in this concern and we still consider the US government accountable for kidnapping Amiri and protecting his life.
Criticizing the work of taking a human being as hostage for political aims, Mihman-Parast said that Iranian public opinion and Amiri family want his prompt return to Iran.
The spokesman, by referring to proof of kidnapping and presence of Amiri in the USA, said, "We believe that Alireza Askari had also been kidnapped by the US and we expect the US, upon human considerations, accept its responsibility and clear his situation, too."/end
