Agriculture Minister meets Spanish official

ZARAGOZA, July 19 (Saba) - Agriculture and Irrigation Minister Mansour al-Hushabi met on Friday Spanish Minister of Environment,
Marine and Rural Affairs Elena Espinosa.

In the sideline of Yemen's participation in EXPO 2008 Zaragoza in Spain, al-Hushabi and Espinosa reviewed agricultural cooperation relations between the two countries in the light of agreements and protocols signed by both countries.

The two officials confirmed the need of activating the signed cooperation agreements between the two countries in agricultural fields, particularly the cultivation of olive trees and the development of animal resources.

On the other side, during his visit to a number of Arab pavilions in the EXPO 2008 Zaragoza, al Hushabi was briefed on Arab experiences of water preservation.
