EU ‘COULD BE MORE ACTIVE IN SETTLING NAGORNO-KARABAKH CONFLICT’
Baku, July 1 (AzerTAc). The European Union`s Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby has said the organization could play a more active role in finding a solution to the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“But it must not be instead of the OSCE Minsk Group, but in support of it.”
Semneby stressed the necessity of seeking new ways of confidence.
“We`ll consider ways which will help the European Union assist in solving the conflict,” he added.
