ROMANIAN AMBASSADOR VISITS AZERBAIJAN UNIVERSITY OF LANGUAGES
Baku, July 1 (AzerTAc). Romania`s ambassador in Baku Nikolae Ureke has visited the Azerbaijan University of Languages where he met rector Samad Seyidov.
They discussed prospects for boosting cultural, scientific and educational relations between the two countries.
Ureke proposed opening a department of Romanian language at the university.
“This would be an important step in teaching the Romanian language in Azerbaijan, and also contribute to developing our relations.”
Seyidov supported the ambassador`s proposal, expressing readiness to give necessary support.
The rector emphasized the importance of establishing relations between Azerbaijani and Romanian higher educational institutions.
