AZERBAIJANI AMBASSADOR GIVES INTERVIEW TO UK`S OPEN CENTRAL ASIA MAGAZINE
Baku, July 1 (AzerTAc). The UK`s Open Central Asia magazine published an interview with Azerbaijani ambassador Fakhraddin Gurbanov who gave a background of relationship between Azerbaijan and Central Asia countries and UK-Azerbaijan business ties.
The ambassador underscored that the activity of the British-Azerbaijan Business Council and trip of the British trade mission would give a kick-start to business relations between the two countries.
Gurbanov touched upon regional energy projects in the Caspian region. He pointed out the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway would contribute to cargo traffic between the Far East and Western countries.
On the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the ambassador said it poses a serious threat to regional stability and there is the need to step up international efforts to find a peaceful solution to the conflict.
The magazine featured travel information about Baku and celebration of Novruz bayram in the British parliament earlier in March.
