INDONESIAN HEALTH MINISTER TO VISIT CHINA

Beijing, July 18 (ANTARA) - Indonesian Health Minister Siti Fadila Supari will leave for China next week to hold bilateral talks with her Chinese counterpart Chen Zu and visit a number of pharmaceutical factories.
"The Indonesian health minister will visit Beijing next week. Her planned visit to China was once delayed because of the two ministers' hectic activities," Deputy Chief of the Indonesian Mission in Beijing Mohamad Oemar said on Friday.
On Monday (July 21), Supari would hold talks with Chen Zu and later visit a number of pharmaceutical industries, including a bird flu vaccine producing plant, he said.
At the meeting, the two ministers would focus on discussing bilateral issues and exchanging experiences and views on health developments in each other's country, he said.
He said the chief of the Indonesian Drug and Food Control Agency (BPOM) would accompany Minister Supari during the Chinese visit.
