BAKU HOSTS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PHYSICS
Baku, June 30 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, ANAS, has today hosted an international conference entitled “Physics-2010”.
The event was co-organized by ANAS, the Institute of Physics, and turkey`s Aksaray and Gazi universities.
The event was opened by first vice-president of ANAS Arif Hashimov who praised President Ilham Aliyev`s role in developing science in Azerbaijan.
Aksaray University`s rector Necdet Saglam and Gazi University`s rector Riza Ayhan highlighted the importance of scientific cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The four-day conference will hear nearly 205 reports.
