Yemen takes part in anti-AIDS conference in Dubai
DUBAI, June 29 (Saba)- Activities of the Regional Conference on Comprehensive Policies to Serve Treatment and Protection against AIDS in the Middle East and North Africa were concluded on Tuesday in Dubai
with the participation of Yemen.
Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul-Karim Rasea delivered Yemen speech
in the conference explaining efforts of Yemen in the fight against AIDS and
virus-related
diseases, noting that Yemen was classified in Group A in indicators survey and there
are 5 centers providing care for AIDS inflected people in the country with more than
600 beneficiaries.
The conference focused on characteristics of AIDS virus and the successful
experiments, in addition to the UN strategy to mobilize anti-AIDS efforts.
It came out with a number of recommendations over targeting the epidemic
description of AIDS, specially investments supporting efforts to limit AIDS spread.
