PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN OFFERS CONDOLENCES TO LITHUANIAN COUNTERPART
Baku, 29 June (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to Lithuanian counterpart Dalia Grybauskaite over the death of the country`s former president Algirdas Brazauskas.
“The news of the death of former President of the Republic of Lithuania, prominent state figure Algirdas Brazauskas was a source of great sorrow to me,” the Azerbaijani leader said in his message.
“I share your grief, and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people and myself offer sincere condolences to you, family members of the dead and all the people of Lithuania.”
