MEETING FOR TRACECA TRANSPORT ROUTE PROJECT HELD IN BRUSSELS
Baku, June 29 (AzerTAc). A final meeting on TRACECA transport route in Caspian and Black Sea Project has started today in Brussels. The meeting has brought together delegates from Caspian littoral states, TRACECA member-countries – Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan as well as delegations of Black sea nations.
National Secretary of TRACECA for Azerbaijan, representatives of Baku International Maritime Trade Port and Azerbaijan State Caspian Sea Shipping Company are taking part in the meeting.
As part of the project, Baku has already hosted Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan meetings in early 2010. The delegates of Azerbaijan and Georgia also met in April in Tbilisi. The meeting in Brussels discussed implementation of the transport route in the Caspian and Black Seas project
The TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission was established in 1998. TRACECA affiliates 13 countries from Europe and Asia.
