Bangladesh condemns killing of two BDR men by BSF
DHAKA, Bangladesh, July 18 (BSS)-Bangladesh today condemned the killing of two personnel of the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) by the Indian
Border Security Force (BSF) and considered the incident most
serious.
In a statement here, a Foreign Office spokesman while
commenting on the incident said, "We understand that the BDR
authorities are taking up the matter with their Indian
counterparts."
"At present, we are waiting for the detailed reports of the
situation", the spokesperson also said.
Two BDR solders were shot dead by Indian BSF
forces after midnight yesterday at remote northwestern
Raghunathpur riverine border in Chapainawabganj district.
