2020.
"By 2020 labour productivity in industry will grow by 1.8 times, while

citizens on the start of industrial and innovative development program and
the launch of new industrial facilities.
"At present, I got the report on the launch of 72 facilities worth
$2.5 billion. This year and next year we plan to launch a total of 191
facilities worth $20 billion," Nazarbayev said adding that necessary funds
had been earmarked for the purpose.
The president called on Kazakh citizens to pool efforts "to fulfil
this huge task that will make Kazakhstan a new country with new economy,
industrial and innovative, this is what we need to enter the top 50
competitive countries of the world."
Nazarbayev said the construction of a 2,640MW Balkhash thermal power
plant began. The first and second power generating units are expected to
be commissioned in 2013 and the third and fourth units - in 2016.
