ERDOGAN, MEDVEDEV DISCUSS NAGORNO-KARABAKH IN TORONTO
Ankara, June 28 (AzerTAc). Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev have discussed the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The two met in Toronto on the sidelines of the G20 Summit. Speaking to a press conference following the meeting, Erdogan said they discussed a recent gathering between the presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia. He said the Russian President called the trilateral meeting a “positive step increasing our hopes”.
Erdogan also said Turkey hoped for soonest solution of the issue.
