AW “ON ALTERNATIVE SERVICE� SHOULD COMPLY WITH INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS
Baku, 19 July,(AzerTAj)- The Draft law “On Alternative Service†is being worked out and improved for consideration at the parliament, Ziyafet Askarov, the First Vice-Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan told.
“The bill should comply with
international standardsâ€, he stressed.
According to Mr. Askarov, the Bill was prepared on the base of international
practice. “In addition, the factor of war should certainly be taken into accountâ€,
he underlined. “As known, Azerbaijan was forcibly involved into this military
conflict. The Working Group has, therefore, sent the Draft to relevant organizations
to make their suggestions, after which the document will be discussed in
Parliament.â€
