Iran-ASEAN trade center opens in Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur, June 27, IRNA – An Iran-ASEAN trade center opened in Malaysia with an aim to upgrade commercial relations between the two countries and among southeast Asian states.
The Center will function to widen scope of Iranian commodities’ markets southeast of Asia and find suitable opportunities of investment by Iran and the ASEAN countries in each other’s territory.
The Center has been founded by Head of Iran’s Zanjan Chamber of Commerce Ebrahim Jalili, Head of the Board of Directors of Iran-Malaysia Trade Council Abbas Zarifian Shahriar, member of the Presiding Board of the Iran-Malaysia Traders’ Council Amin Zekrgu and Head of the Solidarity Organization of Municipality Offices in Zanjan Province Mohammad-Mehdi Ahmadian.
The contract on establishment of the center was endorsed at Iran’s Embassy in Malaysia by representatives of Iran and the ASEAN./end
