‘ARMENIA SABOTAGING ON CONTACT LINE IN RESPONSE TO UPDATED MADRID PRINCIPLES’
Baku, June 26 (AzerTAc). Deputy chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party, YAP, has commented on a recent escalation in the Armenians` violating the ceasefire with Azerbaijan, saying it was their response to the updated version of the Madrid Principles.
“The Armenians are sabotaging on the contact line in response to the new version of the document which was presented to the parties by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs,” said Ali Ahmadov.
The YAP deputy chief noted: “It is caused by the fact the aggressor`s position on the peace talks over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has been weakened.”
Ahmadov said the fact Armenia had been continuously violating the ceasefire proved that it wanted to impede the peace process.
“Armenia`s moves are also caused by the fact their arguments have already wore out and that the international community has already realized that Azerbaijan`s occupied lands must be liberated,” said Ahmadov.
