AZERI MP`s REPORT TO BE DISCUSSED AT PACE AUTUMN SESSION
Paris, June 26 (AzerTAc). A report by Azerbaijani parliamentarian Rafael Huseynov will be included in the agenda of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe`s (PACE) summer session, the Assembly`s Bureau has decided.
The report, “Noise and light pollution: serious risks for the environment”, was prepared within the PACE Committee on the Environment, Agriculture and Local and Regional Affairs.
Huseynov is now working on another report called “Military conflict and environment”, which will feature a deep analysis of the relevant situation across Europe.
Huseynov, who will pay visits to conflict sites in Council of Europe member states for the report, intends to highlight the damages of Armenia`s military aggression to Azerbaijan`s environment among other issues.
The Azerbaijani parliamentarian has made several recommendations and proposals concerning the impact of conflicts on the environment during his activity at the PACE.
Huseynov has so far made four reports within the Assembly – two for the Committee on Culture, Science and Education, one for the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights and another for Committee on the Environment, Agriculture and Local and Regional Affairs.
