AZERBAIJAN ARMED FORCES` DAY MARKED IN UKRAINE
Kiev, June 26 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijani embassy and the office of the country`s military attache in the Ukrainian capital have organized a celebrative event to mark the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
The event was attended by Ukraine`s government officials, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in the country, top-ranking officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, members of the Association of Kiev Military Attaches and senior officials of the Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress.
Speakers at the event included Azeri ambassador Talat Aliyev, the country`s military attache in Kiev, Col. Tofig Gasimov and first deputy chairman of Ukraine`s Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces , Lieutenant-General Igor Romanenko.
