Former Romanian President: King has a vision for better future

Madrid, July 19, SPA -- Former Romanian President Emil
Constantinescu has thanked the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for his call to convene a World Conference on
Dialogue.


In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he said the invitation
has proved that King Abdullah has a vision for a better future in the
era of globalization.


He urged the media which attacks Islam to understand Islam and its
culture as well as its stance vis-à-vis other heavenly religions so
as to understand the reality of Islam.

On his part Rabbi Steven Jacob, the Founder of The Jewish Advanced
Faith Foundation described the World Conference on Dialogue as a
historical gathering, and said the conference has provided a good
opportunity to get acquainted with followers of revealed Messages and
oriental philosophies.


He expressed optimism that the conference will reach positive
results.


Meanwhile, C. Walton Gandhi, President of the Alliance of Common
Grounds among religions in Washington, described the conference as
the proper step in the right direction for a fruitful and influential
cooperation.


He pointed out that dialogue is the best way of realizing peaceful
coexistence.
