BASKAETBALL COMPETITION HELD AMONG MONGOLIANS IN CANADA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Basketball competition called "Embassy Cup-2010" took place on June 19 in Toronto city of Canada among Mongolians living in Canada. Co-organized by the Embassy of Mongolia in Canada and the Union of Mongolians in Canada, the competition brought together three teams from Toronto city, two teams from Vancouver, and two teams from Calgary and Montreal cities.
The second team of Toronto led by Battushig won a gold medal and the Cup of Embassy as of the final results. The winner was followed by the 1 team of Vancouver.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Canada Mr. T.Zalaa-Uul delivered a speech at the competition's opening ceremony. He emphasized about this event that could convened all Mongolians in Canada, and said the Embassy will support activities of the Mongolians' Union.
During the competition, a consular mobile service ran for Mongolians.
