D.IDEVKHTEN VISITS VORONEZH OBLAST
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation D.Idevkhten visited Russia's federal subject Voronezh oblast on June 21-22 at an invitation of the oblast governor Alexey V.Gordeyev.
Beginning the visit, the Ambassador thanked Mr. Gordeyev for a warm welcome, and underlined that his visit focuses on implementing the declaration on development of Mongolia-Russia strategic partnership, which is signed during the state visit of the Russian President to Mongolia, and on increasing a role of Voronezh oblast in the bilateral cooperation in the trade, economics and education sectors. The Ambassador mentioned that Gordeyev worked as a head of the Russia-Mongolia inter-governmental commission for the Russia's side for a long time and that now he is a representative of Russia's President on the cooperation with Mongolia in economics, sciences and technological sectors and expressed a hope that his meeting with the Voronezh's governor will significantly contribute to the bilateral cooperation in commerce and economics.
In his turn, Mr.Gordeyev wanted the Ambassador to enjoy his visit and to get au fait with possibilities of roles of Voronezh in intensifying the development of Mongolia-Russia relations and cooperation. He introduced to the Ambassador competitiveness and resources of the oblast.
The governor expressed his willingness to expand the relations and cooperation with mutual benefits, and said he is ready to exploit Voronezh's experiences on structure of economic and educational spheres for the relations and cooperation, and to render comprehensive support to Mongolia.
After the meeting, they gave a report to media on the visit's goals and importance.
D.Idevkhten held meetings with M.N.Yantsov, a member of Voronozh's government and head of the Economic and Development Department; and A.M.Stayanovskii, a representative of Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Voronezh, Belgorod, Lipetsk and Tambov oblasts.
