Medvedev says he may run for re-election in 2012

PALO ALTO, California, June 24 (Itar-Tass) -- Russian President Dmitry
Medvedev said he might run for re-election in 2012.
"If by the time when this question has to be decided the plans I have
stated are implemented and people give their support, and this is the most
important thing for a politician, if there is a desire to do this, I would
not rule this out," Medvedev said at Stanford University.
Elections are "a big test for a politician", he admitted.
"It's a rather complex job to be a president, and those who say when
embarking on it that they are ready to work two and three terms, this
persons has not understood what he has gotten involved in or he is not
quite ready for this work," the president said.
