Prominent figures hail king's speech

Madrid, July 17, SPA -- A number of prominent figures participating in the World Conference on Dialogue hailed the speech delivered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at the opening of the conference here yesterday.
They praised the speech for containing a call for dialogue among
followers of the divine religions, cultures and civilizations to
spread peace, security and coexistence among people.
In statements to Saudi Press Agency today, they underscored the
importance of holding the conference as it constitutes solid ground
for a permanent and constructive dialogue that achieves peace and
security for humanity and blocks the road for the culture of clash
and rejection of others.
Those who spoke to SPA included the Chairman of the Arab-Turkish
Association for Sciences and culture, the Chairman of the Japan
Committee of the International Parliament for Religion and Peace and
Vice president of the International Federation of Muslim Scholars.
