Ruling, opposition parties to sign treaty

SANA'A, July 17 (Saba) - The ruling party, the national council of opposition parties and the Arab baath party are to sign a national
alliance treaty, spokesman for the national council of opposition
parties Salah al-Saedi said.
According to the agreement reached Wednesday, the parties will work to coordinate and cooperate on all vital issues, the mouthpiece of Yemen's Defense ministry said.
Early next week, the ruling party, however, would start a wide
dialogue with the civil society organizations that will address
vital issues.
The party will also hold talks with other parties including the
Yemeni Rabitah party and the Arab Baath Party during which they
will discuss these issues.
