OSCE recalls 300 Kyrgyz referendum observers for safety reasons.
BISHKEK, June 22 (Itar-Tass) - The Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) has recalled for considerations of safety 300 people who were to observe the June 27 referendum in Kyrgyzstan, Galiya Alymbekova from the central commission for elections and the referendum told 24.kg news agency on Tuesday.
"At the present moment, 90 permanent representatives of the OSCE
monitor the procedure of preparations for the upcoming nationwide voting,"
Alymbekova said. She added that all in all over 100 international
observers have been accredited.
