LAWS TRANSLATED INTO BRAILLE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ At initiative of the Mongolian National Commission of Human Rights, into the Braille have been translated the Constitution of Mongolia, the criminal law and some parts of the law on criminal procedure. The work is done for the visually challenged people at financial support from the "AIFO" Italian governmental organization and the European Union.
Due to lack of books in Braille on laws and resolutions, the visually challenged people face many difficulties when they are called for a criminal or defendant and give witness testimony.
The Braille books are issued at a collaboration with the State Investigation Authority. They will be delivered to investigation sections of the city and provinces.
