Distribution of mobility aid for disabled in Saada

SAADA, June 21 (Saba) - The Disabled Care Society in Saada province launched on Monday the project to distribute mobility aid and health mattresses for disabled in the province.

In the first phase, 153 mobile seats and 49 health mattresses and 50 double
crutches were distributed at a cost of YR 15 million with funding from the Disabled
Fund.
At the distribution ceremony, Saada Governor Taha Hajer highly valued these aid
provided to the disabled in the province as an extension for the role played by the
Society
in taking up the issues and needs of the disabled people.
Speeches delivered in the ceremony praised the Fund's role in supporting the
disabled society in Saada and providing their needs.
It is noted that in the second phase during the coming period, about 420 headsets
would be distributed at a cost of YR 50 million, with support from the Disabled
Fund.
