Sudanese figures lauds conference

Khartoum, July 18 , SPA -- Sudanese press and cultural figures
welcomed the holding of the World Conference on Dialogue which was
opened in Madrid yesterday by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.

In statements to Saudi Press Agency, they expressed hopes that the
conference will produce positive results contributing to the
establishment of common bases for dialogue with others.

Those who spoke to SPA included Dr. Mohyedeen Teetawi, the President
of the Sudanese Journalists Union, and Dr. Abdullah Salih AbuBakr,
the university professor and researcher at the Strategic Studies
Center in Khartoum, who commended the king's patronage of the
conference and his wise leadership.
