Anti-Iran resolution indicates US hostility towards Iran

Moscow, June 21, IRNA – Head of a Russian TV said Sunday that the latest anti-Iran resolution adopted by the UN Security Council has indicated the depth of the US hostility towards Iran.
By adopting Resolution 1929, the US has proved that it was not after resolving Iran’s nuclear issue through peaceful means, President of the Russian Tele-video company “Islamic World,” Zaudi Mamirgov told IRNA.
Condemning the UNSC’s latest move against Iran, Mamirgov said the resolution was passed to deviate the world public opinion from the recent crimes against humanity of the Zionist leaders after Israeli troops stormed a peace flotilla on May 31 sailing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
“Despite the fact that Iran has never attacked even a single state or threatened other nations, the country is consistently the target of the Western officials' rhetoric and biased propaganda of the Western media,” Mamirgov stressed.
He noted that the reason behind the US hostility against Iran was the fact that the country “is a Muslim state” and it is not tolerable for the West to see an Islamic state making great progresses and becoming a pattern country for other Muslim nations.
Mamirgov advised the Western countries to, instead of conflicting with Iran, try to have effective interaction with the country which has become “the most important state in the Middle East.”/end
