Yemen, US discuss agriculture sector support

SANA'A, June 20 (Saba)- Undersecretary
of Agriculture and Irrigation Minister Mohammed al-Ghashm held Sunday talks with the
Regional
Director of the US Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) Mohamed Tawhid al-Safy in Riyadh
on the agriculture support provided by the ATO for Yemen.
During the meeting, they discussed implementation mechanism of this support through
an agricultural project to be implemented during the current year to focus on
activities
in the areas of plant protection, animal health, agricultural extension,
agricultural marketing and rural women's development and irrigation.
