Yemen ends participation in education quality conference in France

SANA'A, June 20
(Saba)- Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Ibrahim Hajri
returned on
Sunday to Sana'a after his participation in the international conference on
"Education Quality and its Adjustment with the Labor Market." The minister said in
remarks to
Saba that the conference which was held in the French city of Marcella, discussed
issues concerning with education quality and its adjustment with the labor market.
The conference also focused on means of qualifying youth by modern ways to create
professional laborers in order to meet the real needs of labor market, he added.
He made reference to the conference confirmation on the importance of establishing
national authorities to harmonize with the regional bodies for quality control.
He said that he paid a visit to Germany to get briefed with the German experience
in the technical education field and to discuss with the German side support
offered to
the technical education and vocational training in Yemen.
