Ministry asks to activate ban on carrying weapons in cities

SANA'A, June 20 (Saba) -
The Interior Ministry has asked the Central Security, the Police Rescue and the head
security
offices in the Secretariat Capital and other provinces to activate the weapon
carrying ban and expand it to cover main and sub roads in the Yemeni cities.
The Information Center of the ministry said the security authorities in all
provinces were also asked to submit daily reports over the ban implementation and
seized weapons
in each province.
The ministry said it would oversee progress on the ban implementation in each
province through supervisory committees to ensure a good and effective performance
and accurate
implementation.
