Yemen opens four oil blocks for investment

SANA'A, June 20 (Saba)- Ministry of Oil
and Minerals handed over on Sunday offers to international oil companies to compete
on four
oil opening blocks No (80,86,88 and 55).
Amir al-Adarows, Minister of Oil and Minerals said that the deadline to receive
replies of the companies is a month since they receive the offers, adding that
these blocks
are opened for investment based on desire of international oil companies to invest in.
He made it clear that the ministry would open other three blocks for investment soon.
The minister invited all international companies to direct talks with the ministry,
if they desire to invest in the oil blocks in Yemen in conditions that those
companies
have good financial level and truthful legal position.
