DAY OF AZERBAIJANI CULTURE IN ICELAND
Baku, June 19 (AzerTAc). A Day of Azerbaijani culture was held in Reykjavik, Iceland. The event was organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Great Britain and Iceland, Europe – Azerbaijan Society and “Azeri” Iceland-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, bringing together the Azeri Embassy staffers, members of Iceland`s community and Azeri Diaspora.
The participants watched a documentary film about Azerbaijani refugees and IDPs, which was made in 2007 by Icelandic journalist Gudrun Helga.
A group of Azeri musicians performed pieces of classic music. The participants of the event were presented magazines, books and brochures about Azerbaijan.
