IOR-ARC FMs to convene in Yemen in August

SANA'A, June 17 (Saba) - Well-Informed
sources learned on Thursday that Yemen is to host next August the meeting of Foreign
ministers
of Indian Ocean Rim-Association for Regional Cooperation (IOR-ARC) countries.
The sources were cited by the weekly 26 September as saying that the ministers
would a number of issues pertaining to activating the cooperation between the
IOR-ARC's member
states in the commercial and economic areas.
The meeting will also focus on attracting investments, putting up joint projects
and encouraging the private sector to cooperate and to form partnerships.
According to the sources, Yemen will hand over, during the meeting, the presidency
of IOR-ARC to India.
