ECSTASY DEALER ARRESTED
Jakarta, July 17 (ANTARA) - Police arrested an ecstasy dealer as he was about to sell 137 ecstasy pills to a customer at the lobby of Hotel Travel in Jalan Mangga Besar VIII, Taman Sari disrict, West Jakarta on Thursday.
Jakarta Police spokesman Sr Comm. Ketut Untung Yoga Ana said the suspect, identified as KSJ alias TKS, was caught red-handed with the 137 ecstasy pills in his possession.
"As many as 100 pills carried the 'Mercy' logo and the 37 others the letter 'S'," he said.
The arrest was made after several days of investigation by the Jakarta Police's Narcotics Directorate, he said.
KSJ was arrested as he was about to hand over the ecstasy pills to a would-be buyer.
"The suspect is now under intensive questioning to find out where or how he had obtained the drugs," Yoga Ana said.
