Jordan’s Women Union condemns UN anti-Iran resolution
Amman, June 17, IRNA – President of the Jordanian Women Union Amneh Zubi Wednesday condemned the UN Security Council’s latest anti-Iran resolution calling it a tyrannical act.
Speaking to IRNA, Zubi said the Resolution 1929 indicated the double standard policy adopted by the UN regarding different countries.
Supporting Iran’s right to have peaceful nuclear energy under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the official said all sanctions adopted against Iran would face failure.
The only way to solve Iran’s nuclear issue is to admit its legitimate right for using nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, Zubi said.
She added that the UNSC should impose sanctions on the Zionist regime for having a rich nuclear arsenal of over 100 nuclear warheads./end
