VIENNA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, AZERBAIJAN UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION SEAL DEAL ON COOPERATION
Vienna, June 15 (AzerTAc). Visiting pro-rector of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction Arif Sharifov and Vice-Rector of the Vienna University of Technology Hans Keiser signed an agreement on cooperation between the two universities.
Sharifov said the agreement would open up new avenues for implementation of joint projects concerning teaching process, staff training, scientific researches.
The signing ceremony was followed by a meeting dealing with Azerbaijani architecture.
Vienna University of Technology prepared a 3D laser model of the Maiden`s Tower.
Sharifov gave a background of Architecture University`s international ties, structure and history.
Azerbaijani specialists presented new projects being implemented by the Azerbaijan University of Architecture in order to conserve historical and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.
A film “Baku Trip” narrating on the visit of officers of the Vienna University was demonstrated at the event.
