Iran's oil minister meets Turkmen president
Tehran, June 16, IRNA – Iran’s Oil Minister Masoud Mirkazemi met with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov in Ashkhabad on Wednesday.
During the meeting, he discussed issues of mutual interest for the two countries especially in areas pertaining to energy and oil and gas industries.
Mirkazemi has traveled to Turkmenistan at the official invitation of his Turkmen counterpart.
He is scheduled to separately meet with Turkmenistan’s deputy prime minister and minister of energy later today.
He will also sign letters of understanding with Turkmen officials on bilateral cooperation in the energy sector./end
